Design
The chassis looks comfortable even though it comes with a plastic build. On the other hand, you get a glossy Lenovo logo and a two-tone design that makes it even more appealing. The trick in the silver outlook almost tricks one in thinking the chassis is made from aluminum. Next, you get a darker grey underside, which is somewhat appealing.
There are not any fancy integrations or styled accents for the keyboard. You get an ordinary accent that any other budget laptop would have. It does come with several ports, which makes connectivity seamless.
Display
The 14” screen comes with a 1366x766 resolution, which isn’t something high-end but still comes with great results. One thing that is disturbing about it is the low brightness level. The results look washy and graphics are difficult to be made out. There is only 67% of sRGB colour coverage, which is below the average of 77%. Brightness levels maxes out on 194 nits, which is severely low. Hence, this laptop should not be considered if you are looking for something with a great display.
Keyboard & Touchpad
One gets the iconic Lenovo keyboard that comes with matte grey keys in a shield shape, making typing comfortable. There’s 1.4 mm travel space, which makes it easier to enter right keys. As for the touchpad, you get 4.1x2.8 inch that presents a soft touch. You get a great response with gesture recognition, two-finger scrolling, three-finger tab switching. There are not any precision drivers so that’s somewhat disappointing.
Performance & Graphics
This laptop comes with 1 TB HDD, 4 GB RAM, and features Intel Pentium N4200 1.10 GHz with 2.5 GHz max turbo processor. It is not much of a time, and the laptop does not have enough power to engage in multiple tasks. The laptop tired down when multiple chrome tabs were run, which means it cannot handle the immense load.
For the performance test, it was not able to score much and lagged in almost most of the tasks in comparison with other laptops such as VivoBook, Acer Aspire E15. From matching names in the Excel sheet to the overall performance test, the Lenovo IdeaPad 320 lagged its competitors as well as on average score. It was able to score 30fps, running Dirt 3, which is not much, but it made the game playable.
Battery
The batter life for Lenovo IdeaPad 320 is disappointing as compared with other mainstream laptops. Lasting 4 hours and 24 minutes, the laptop does not give much even when there are not heavy specs loaded in it. Some laptops with RTX GPU in them have a better battery life than the Lenovo IdeaPad 320, which makes it an uncomfortable choice.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 320 comes with a 720p webcam, which is not bad. The color capturing is cool, although a bit darker, but it still provides a compelling view. The contrast may be poor; however, it does bring a blended image. Though if you are streaming, then using an external webcam may be a better option.
