Design & Build

Dell has designed the Precision 3640 tower PC keeping in mind the needs of the industry. This is an industrial workstation that comes in a chassis that is space-saving and optimised for expandability.

The front panel has a cross net design with ports available on the top. This offers easy-to-reach ports that will let you connect with devices quickly. The cross net on the front and vent grills on the left side ensures appropriate aeration. Thus, your workstation will remain cool even when it is working to its full capacity.

The right side is plain while the rear side features connectivity ports and vents. Overall, this is a slick design for an office tower PC. You can easily place it on your desk or hide it under the table.

Ports & Connectivity

On the top front, there is a slightly bigger power button placed alongside the Integrated DVD RW. Below that is an SD card reader, four USB 3.2 ports, and a single headset jack. The ports selection includes one Type-A Gen1 port, two Type-A ports, and a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port.
