Design & Build Review 

We were not expecting a flamboyant design since the A15 is from the budget segment. Oppo went with a complete plastic design which has no flairs. This is a shiny all-plastic body which you can get in your desired colour. The design matches with Oppo A15 price as it is one of the cheapest Android smartphones. 

Oppo store is providing it in two colour variants in the UK: Mystery Blue and Dynamic Black. With a thickness of 7.9mm, it weighs around 6.17oz (175g). This is a fairly slim body design with power and volume keys on the right side. There is nothing on top and left edges. At the bottom, there is a 3.5mm audio jack, micro-USB port, and speaker grills. 

Display Evaluation 

We found the display a decent choice during our Oppo A15 review. This is a 6.52-inch large LCD display which is equipped with the IPS technology. It delivers a resolution of 1600 × 720p and we received HD+ visuals. So, you cannot enjoy FHD video streaming or 1080p gaming, but this is an acceptable deal. 

Camera Setup Evaluation 

The camera setup is appropriate and supports the OPPO A15 price. This is a familiar selection of front and rear comers that we have seen on many budget smartphones. At the top, there is a 5MP selfie shooter which is armed with AI-beautification. It features a 3P lens and has an f/2.4 aperture which shoots splendid portraits with colourful backgrounds. 

There is a triple-cam on the rear side that includes 13MP main and two more 2MP lenses. The 13MP camera works well under bright light and lives up to colour accuracy and HDR expectations. Then there is a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth lens that works well with the main sensor. 

Hardware Selection & Performance 

The model we used for Oppo A15 review came with the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. This is a budget processor that is set at 2.3GHz clock speed and runs on the Android 10 OS. Plus, Oppo has added its own ColorOS 7.2 to further improve the user experience. 

The quantity of RAM and ROM is on the lower side, but it fits with Oppo A15 price. There is a 3GB memory paired with 32GB storage capacity. The battery is 4000mAh which can provide an all-day performance on a full charge. 

Overall, this is a decent set of specs that do justice with the price range. We were not expecting more than this at such a budget. However, the addition of traditional micro-USB is surprising as modern-day phones feature USB-C ports. 

Final Note 

During our Oppo A15 review, we found it a complete phone that lacks embellishment. From cheap Android smartphones, this is an ideal phone for everyday consumers. The camera setup, enduring battery and modest display do justice with Oppo A15 price. Simply put, this is a well-rounded phone for budget users.
