The AORUS M27UA is a 27-inch gaming monitor built around a SuperSpeed IPS panel with a 3840 x 2160 Ultra HD resolution. Its 16:9 aspect ratio provides a familiar viewing format for gaming, multimedia and general desktop use, while the flat panel design offers a conventional workspace without the curvature found on some larger gaming displays. The monitor provides a maximum refresh rate of 160Hz and a response time of up to 1ms MPRT, allowing fast-moving content to be displayed with reduced motion blur when the appropriate settings are used. The panel has a typical brightness of 400 cd/m², a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 178-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles. An anti-glare surface is also included to help minimise reflections from surrounding light sources during use.

Colour and HDR Support

The M27UA is designed to provide a broad colour range for games, video content and everyday visual applications. The display supports up to 1.07 billion colours through 8-bit plus FRC processing, with a colour gamut covering approximately 95% of DCI-P3 and 128% of the sRGB colour space. This combination provides a wide range of colours across compatible content, while the IPS panel maintains consistent viewing characteristics from different positions. The monitor also supports HDR through VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, allowing compatible content to use a wider range of brightness and contrast information. Flicker-free technology and low-blue-light functionality are included as part of the display's viewing features. A 5ms GtG response time is specified alongside the faster 1ms MPRT mode. Gaming Features and Adaptive Sync

The monitor includes several functions aimed at gaming and interactive content. Video connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 connection with Display Stream Compression support. The HDMI connections support high-resolution gaming, while DisplayPort provides another option for compatible desktop graphics cards. A USB Type-C connection supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode and can provide up to 18W of power delivery to a compatible connected device. The monitor also incorporates a USB hub with three USB 3.2 downstream ports and one USB 3.2 upstream port. This allows compatible peripherals to be connected directly to the monitor rather than occupying additional ports on the computer. An earphone jack is also provided for audio connectivity.
