Upgraded print quality

Epson has greatly improved their ink dispersion technology, replacing the light cyan and light magenta colours with pigment black and photo grey for a higher level of print accuracy. With an advanced 6 Claria ET Premium ink system, photos have never looked so good. The LED downlighter allows you to view prints when they appear and their innovative printing technology means photos should last for up to 300 years in an album. Its integrated A4 scanner has an optical resolution of up to 1,200 x 4,800 dpi and the handy touch screen interface allows for easy setup and maintenance.

Intuitive and easy printing

There have also been some upgrades to the printer's usability, with a 10.9cm touchscreen, a print tray capacity of 100 sheets and increased connectivity. It's also been designed with Rear Straight Pass technology which can take media that is up to 1.3mm thick and can print up to A3 size.

The user can also utilise Epson's consumer app, allowing remote printing, copying and scanning and can connect to Wi-Fi and AirPrint for seamless sharing and printing. The Epson EcoTank ET-8550 also has 2 front cassettes, a rear feed and a straight pass feed to allow more versatility for a range of printing projects.
