ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16
(2026) GU606AR
Processing and Performance
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16
GU606AR is configured with an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor
featuring 16 cores and a maximum turbo frequency of up to 4.9GHz. It is
paired with 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 2TB SSD, providing a
substantial hardware configuration for gaming, creative applications,
multitasking, and everyday computing. The system also incorporates Intel
AI Boost technology for supported AI-related workloads. Graphics are
handled by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU with 12GB of GDDR7
dedicated graphics memory. This combination provides a specification
built around high-performance processing, dedicated graphics, and fast
storage, while Windows 11 Home supplies the operating environment for
applications, games, communication, and general use.
OLED Display
The laptop features a
16-inch OLED display with a 2560 x 1600 resolution and a 16:10 aspect
ratio. The panel supports a refresh rate of up to 240Hz and has a listed
response time of 0.2ms, making the display specification particularly
suited to fast-moving games and other visual content. The OLED panel
provides the display technology for showing detailed images, video,
applications, and gaming content, while the 16:10 format provides
additional vertical space compared with a conventional 16:9 screen. The
display also uses an anti-glare surface. With its combination of
WQXGA-class resolution, OLED technology, and high refresh rate, the
screen provides a versatile workspace for gaming, entertainment,
creative applications, and general desktop activities.
Graphics and Storage
The dedicated NVIDIA
GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU includes 12GB of GDDR7 graphics memory,
giving the system a separate graphics resource for games, 3D
applications, visual software, and other graphics-intensive workloads.
Alongside the dedicated GPU, the laptop includes 32GB of LPDDR5X memory
and a 2TB solid-state drive. The storage capacity provides room for
applications, games, documents, media files, and other digital content
without relying immediately on external storage. The combination of
dedicated graphics memory, system memory, and SSD storage creates a
hardware configuration that can accommodate different types of demanding
workloads. The internal components are housed within the Zephyrus G16's
compact 16-inch laptop format.
Connectivity and
Communication
The ROG Zephyrus G16
provides a selection of wired and wireless connectivity options. The
specification includes USB Type-A and USB Type-C ports, Thunderbolt
connectivity, and HDMI 2.1 for connecting external displays and
peripherals. Wireless networking is provided through Wi-Fi 7, while
Bluetooth 6 is available for compatible wireless accessories. A card
reader is also included. The laptop features an integrated webcam with a
microphone for video communication, while the built-in stereo speaker
system provides audio for meetings, media, games, and general use. USB-C
Power Delivery is supported, with compatible charging requirements
specified between 45W and 100W. These connections provide flexibility
for gaming accessories, displays, storage devices, networking, and
everyday peripherals.
Design, Keyboard and
Battery
The Zephyrus G16 uses a
Platinum White aluminium chassis and has a clamshell design measuring
approximately 354 x 246 x 14.917.9mm. At around 1.95kg, it combines a
16-inch display with a relatively compact form factor. The keyboard
features one-zone RGB backlighting and includes a dedicated Copilot key.
The laptop uses a 90Wh four-cell lithium-ion battery, while the supplied
AC adapter is rated at 250W. USB-C charging is also supported through
USB Power Delivery. Windows Hello and password protection provide
additional security options, while the integrated camera and microphone
support communication. Overall, the specification brings together a
high-performance internal platform, large battery, illuminated keyboard,
and portable chassis.
