Build & Design – Catches the eyes

Firstly, the ASUS Vivobook S15 surrounds your attention with its tremendously elegant colours and our favourite has to be the moss-green with neon-orange accents. It looks more like a military-green lid with bright orange trim and gives a nice hue of boldness and firmness. There is also a ‘punk pink’ colour option available, if you don’t like this one that comes with a transparent silver lid.

The body of this laptop is comprised of magnesium alloy that makes up the chassis and this quality material gives a nice luxury feel when you hold it. At 3.9 pounds, this laptop is not really heavy, but not the lightest of all, so you cannot say it’s very portable, although it’s manageable to handle. It is, in fact good for commuting along your digital work as the thin and compact footprint is adjusted in the build with 9.2 inches thinness.

Screen –  Bigger & Thin

The display you get with ASUS Vivobook S15 comes with a bigger screen of 15.6-inch, which definitely provides large panel vibes. Battery & Ports

With 42Wh battery power, we extracted almost 8 hours of battery life with Wi-Fi on and random video streaming. It’s not that bad, but not that good as well. While the ports selection is done quite generously and we are able to get almost every port in this laptop including the usual Type A, Type B and HDMI ports.

Verdict

The ASUS Vivobook S15 turned out to be the excellent value provider in its money, with some commendable features and compelling power. It is a good all-rounder with all necessary functionalities added to it and the main performance of this laptop is also efficient to lead your tasks throughout the day.
