Lenovo has introduced some new laptop models in the market such as Lenovo V15 G2 15. It is one of their slimmer 15.6 models. What is exciting about this one is that it has an 11th Gen Core i5 Quad-Core processor with a much faster RAM and SSD drive. It is not only perfect as an entry-level computer but is also efficient for advanced creative work. Now let us have a detailed look at its features.

Build and Design

The build quality is fine and has a black polymer exterior with a clean patterned texture finish. The keypad is durable and sturdy for everyday use, while the touchpad has a smooth spacious interface with perfect response time.

Processor

It is in-built with an 11th Generation Intel Core i5 1135G7 QuadCore processor with 8 MB Smart Cache. Your system will run smoothly with a consistent processor speed of 2.4 GHz and a turbo boost speed of 4.2 GHz.

Storage and RAM

The hard drive size is 512GB but is expandable with an optional SSD. You can add up to 2 TB SSD. The preinstalled DDR4 RAM allows you swift access to your data but of course,  8GB RAM can be expanded up to 20 GB as per your work requirement.

Graphics and Display

The built-in integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics functions as UHD Graphics ensuring a smoother and faster graphic display.

Now coming towards its display. It has a 15.6 Full High-Definition (1920 x 1080) TN Anti-Glare and 45 % NTSC screen surface. However, the display cannot get brighter than 250nits.

Ports and Slots

It offers a fast charging slot, HDMI port, USB 2.0, USB 3.2 and USB-C 3.2 ports along with a headphone jack. There is also a security lock slot, Ethernet (RJ-R45) port and one extra USB slot on the other side of the laptop.

Camera and Speakers

A webcam is located at the top centre of the screen with a privacy shutter. The 0.3-megapixel camera is good enough to record HDI video and has an average picture quality. There is also a built-in 2x array microphone to let you connect during meetings and live gaming sessions.

The two 1.5 W stereo speakers support Dolby audio and can produce a satisfying range of highs and mid-tones, enabling you to hear different sound effects. In short, the speakers are quite satisfying.
